Lukana from Disney from Ravensburger has become very quickly Trading card games there. The healthy mixture of strategic play and Disney art makes a fun game for any age group. Since its first release in 2023 it has played and recently joined a gaming group in my local gaming store, making the game more fun. Usually, we play the full standard game, but this week, I tried the new Lorcan, Pack Rush, which is the perfect way for anyone to start it.
Usually, when you start running a trading card game, you need a kind of Beginning box. This usually includes about 60 cards, a bases package to help you start and some meters. However, it is one player group and you can feel a great commitment if you are not ready. To play a full game, you need two groups, the total of about 32 dollars. This may feel arduous to the game you don’t even know. Enter Pack Rush – a way to play using only two small packages.
These two players decided to play Pack Rush with the enamel pin as a prize.
If you have played commercial card games like Magic: The Gathering or Pokémon before, you know that preparing your deck in advance is the key. This allows you to plan your cards and choose the gameplay that suits you. Rush’s package is on her head by making the deck completely new and random. Every time you play, you open two new support packages and use cards inside to form a small surface of 24 cards. You can also use the technical card from each package to start the ink well, which makes your total card to 26.
The Inkwele ink card from the beginning makes the game walk quickly. It allows you to withdraw the three -minute cost card and start getting the flag immediately. In a standard game, the total victory in science is 20, but for Pack Rush, it was reduced to 15, so these early scoring leaves can be very useful. Pack Rush also eliminates the base of the presence of only two types of ink, which leads to an unexpected color synergy that was much fun for the experiment.
The rest of Pack Rush is played almost like the standard game, but it does not end if someone runs out of the cards. If this happens, you simply mix your deck and start playing it again. Even with this new rule, Pack Rush games are much faster and more chaotic than standard games. Since you have no idea about the cards you may withdraw, the only strategy is that you can throw with the first five cards.

To facilitate the new game mode experience, Ravensburger send Pack Rush experimental boxes to many local gaming stores. Mine – Call Barrier In Old Manassas – they got enough for about 20 people to play, and because we play Lorcana and Magic: The Gathering on the same night on Tuesday night, there were many experienced players and newcomers both to put him in his steps. Even the heading players went to the action. With the help of our local teacher, Lurkana, they were playing happily in a few minutes of opening the packages. One of the magic players, Naseem, was lucky enough to pull the charming SISU card, which is worth about $ 150, in his package, making his night unexpectedly delightful.
It turns out that this is one of the best events of Lorcana in which she has participated so far. It is also one of the best ways to see new players – providing an attractive experience early without having a great investment. The next Lorcana Group, Archeia IslandIt will come to local gaming stores on March 7, and if you’re not getting the game yet, Pack Rush’s play with a few new reinforcements may be the motivation you need.
