Human resource expert says this Gen AI, but it cannot be replaced by workers

Tructering intelligence tools replace some tasks that were historically the jurisdiction of novice employees who learn their way at the beginning of a profession. This should not mean that these jobs disappear, the Human Resources Company of Technim has told South South to the west on Monday.

“I think we must think differently about what these beginners jobs are,” said Nickel Lamurio, IBM chief human resource employee.

Artificial intelligence is a big topic in SXSW here in Austin, Texas, this week, including conversations on accountability, creativity, confidence and the use of artificial data. A glimpse of SXSW shows all the ways this technology may one day leak in our lives, if not already.

One big way: Amnesty International changes our jobs, which changes the way we get these jobs. Lamorio said that companies should search for different qualities in employees – those that you cannot find in the device.

Amnesty International as a recruitment director?

Lamorio said that many companies already use Amnesty International to check CVs or to liquidate job candidates in another way, but IBM does not. The decision depends on the company’s comfort in using a tool for this purpose and whether it is suitable for the culture and goals of that company. She said the goal is to use these tools to reduce bias, but sometimes, it can enhance or amplify them.

She said that IBM is the company “Skills First”, which means that it focuses on the technical skills of the candidate instead of where these skills came from. Lamorio said she is concerned that a algorithm rejects candidates who come from unconventional backgrounds, but they have the skills needed to do jobs.

The big way to change the recruitment process in your next job is how it will affect the skills that the company is looking for. The same job will change.

“I think you will see the methods of choice to try to reach this unique human part of the acquisition of talent,” Lamorio said.

One thing you should not expect: the idea that you will apply for jobs alongside your “digital twin” agent. These agents are likely to be developed by the employer to deal with the employer’s work – and one company will not allow you to walk with all this information to another competitor or work.

“If you leave a job, you will not go with you to the following job,” Lamorio said. “It will be suitable for this role.”

Focus on human skills

If LinkedIn’s influences are supposed to believe, then the new hot task that develops in the past few years is an engineer directed from the IQ of Truc, a person with experience in obtaining the Amnesty International model to produce the best outputs. But Lamoreaux said that artificial intelligence tools soon became easy to use that the demand engineering is not as important as it was once. And she said, “The demand engineer” is the same as “e -mail launched by the email.”

The future workforce will need more workers who have experience in the field: people who can consider the output of the artificial intelligence model and determine what it succeeds, what is correct and what is not true. This field experience will also help decision -making capacity beyond what the device can deal with.

“With artificial intelligence and the Toulidi AI, the experience of the field becomes more important, not less important,” said Lamorio.

She said that the ruling and communication – the ability to make the right decision and explain this decision effectively – will become the most important skills that employers are looking for.

New beginners job

Lamoreaux expects artificial intelligence tools that you will deal with some of the most primitive works, but they cannot deal with everything. They will make employees more productive by reducing the lower -level business, but human beings still need to deal with high -level decision -making work.

“Think of it like e -mail, mobile phones, or the Internet,” she said. “Artificial intelligence is a tool. Artificial intelligence is a platform. Each function has been transformed.”

If the digital tools take over more work that was addressed by the workers who were learning their jobs and building their experiences, how is it supposed to learn the skills necessary for a higher level?

Lamorio said that employers need to rethink the role of workers who have just started. These functions need to focus specifically on developing the skills needed to do things that cannot be artificial intelligence, including solving complex problems and making complex decisions.

“When I say artificial intelligence converts all functions, I am talking about redesign the overall work,” she said. If employers do not give a closer look at how to change their roles for beginners to support employee growth, this may lead to a scenario in which a generation of workers does not pick up the skills they need to do the available jobs.
