PIXEL SUPERFANS TRUSTED LAB SOFTWARE OFFICIAL RULES (“Official Rules”) – US Version

Entering this contest constitutes your acceptance of these Official Rules. Void where prohibited.

In order to enter the Contest (defined below), you must agree to be bound by these Official Rules. These Official Rules constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Google (defined below) in connection with the Contest.

The Contest is run by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. (“Google”).

1. Competition submission period

The Pixel Superfans Trusted Laboratory Program (“Contest”) begins on 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Monday, October 13, 2025, And ends at 11:59 PM ET on Friday, October 17, 2025 (“Contest Submission Period”).

2. Eligibility

Contest is only open to: Legal residents of Fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (“US/DC”)who are over the age of eighteen (18) as of the date of submission (defined below) and who have received an email invitation to participate in Google’s Pixel Superfans US program.

2.1 The following persons are excluded from participating in the competition:

2.1.1 Employees of Google (“Google”), its subsidiaries, parents, affiliates, divisions, suppliers, distributors, contractors, advertising, promotional and arbitration agencies (collectively “Google and its Affiliates”).

2.1.2 All shareholders, directors, officers, members and agents of Google and its affiliates and members of their immediate families (including spouses, parents, children, siblings and their spouses); Those who live in the same household as any of the above are not eligible to participate or win the Contest.

2.1.3 Entrants from outside the United States, who do not legally reside in the United States. Void outside the United States and where prohibited. Google reserves the right to verify eligibility and arbitrate any dispute at any time.

3. How to enter

3.1 Entrants must follow the link to the Google Form emailed to them and submit their entries during the Contest submission period.

3.2 Participation in this competition will give participants the opportunity to become one of 15 candidates who will be put forward in the next selection round to become members of the Pixel Trusted Tester programme. The Trusted Tester Program is an opportunity to provide feedback and help shape a Pixel phone currently in development. If successful in this competition, Google will contact the winners to ask a second round of questions with the team of trusted testers, which will select the final 15 device testers.

3.3 A Google jury will determine who will receive one nomination out of 15 that will be put forward for consideration to become a Trusted Tester.

3.4 Entrants’ answers to the following questions on the Google Form will constitute their submission (“Submission”):

3.4.2 As a super Pixel fan, please provide us with feedback about your current Pixel device. What do you want to improve and why?

3.4.3 If you had a magic wand, what feature would you add to your device and why?

3.5 This submission must be submitted through the official competition submission form:

3.6 All entries must be submitted within the competition submission period. Any submissions made after 11:59 PM ET on October 17, 2025 will be void.

3.7 Submissions are limited to one (1) submission per participant.

3.8 Important things to note about joining the Trusted Tester Program:

Trusted Tester Program members must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to receiving any Google Pixel Products that may be available for testing, as determined by Google. Delay or failure to sign an NDA means that trusted testers will not be eligible to receive Google Pixel products for testing.

When successful participants become trusted testers and are given a Google device, they are asked to:

4. Participants’ submissions

4.1 Entrant must comply with all instructions specified above and in all communications from Google regarding the Contest and these Official Rules.

4.2 Failure to comply with these Official Rules and any instructions from Google may result in an entrant being disqualified from the Contest.

4.3 By submitting a Submission, you acknowledge and agree that:

4.3.1 Your name, photograph, likeness, location and any and all photographs, audio, video and other material contained in or with the Submission may be used to announce the winners of the Competition and for any other reasonable and relevant promotional purposes.

4.3.2 Submission is voluntary and without restrictions; and

4.3.3 Access will not place Google under any obligation outside of these Official Rules.

4.4 Each participant agrees not to include, as part of his submission, anything that infringes any third party’s proprietary rights, intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, personal or moral rights or any other rights. Submission must be suitable for publication (i.e. may not be obscene or indecent) and must comply with all other content restrictions detailed in the full Official Rules.

5. Choice

5.1 Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:

5.2 Fifteen (15) entrants will be selected from the entries received during the Contest Submission Period (“Winner”). Please note that winning this competition does not mean that you have been selected to become a Trusted Tester, but rather you will go through another selection process that will be communicated to you by Google.

5.3 Winners will be determined during the week commencing 20 October 2025

5.4 Winners will be notified via email no later than 25 October 2025, using the email address details the entrant provides to Google in the official submission. Award communications may also be followed up via email and/or Discord with Google and/or Google affiliates. Unsuccessful participants will not be notified.

5.5 The award will be: One of fifteen nominations to be considered to become a Trusted Tester in the Trusted Laboratory Program (“Award”).

5.6 Places will only be awarded to an address within the United States.

6. Intellectual property and publicity rights

By accepting a prize, entrant consents to the use and submission of his or her name and/or likeness and representation by Google and its agencies for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. General rules

7.1 Google’s decisions regarding enforcement of these Official Rules are final and binding in all respects.

7.2 By entering the Competition, you agree to receive emails from Google relating to the Competition. Any personal data collected in connection with the Competition will be processed in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/).

7.3 As a condition of entering the Contest, all entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Google, its affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all liabilities, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever with respect to injuries, damages or losses incurred. Damage to persons or property which may be incurred in connection with the Competition. THIS RELEASE DOES NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH CAUSED BY GOOGLE’S GROSS NEGLIGENCE.

7.4 Google reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Contest if, in Google’s sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices.

7.5 Google reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Competition if it cannot be completed as planned for any reason.

8. Privacy

8.1 Participant acknowledges and agrees that Google may collect, store, share and use personally identifiable information provided during the registration and contest process. Google will use this information in accordance with its own privacy policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/).

8.2 Participant information may also be transferred to countries outside of the United States in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

8.3 Entrant may have the right to request access to, review, correct or delete any personal data held by Sponsor by writing to Google at the following address: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.

9. Limitation of Liability

As a condition of participating in the Contest, Participant agrees that: (1) under no circumstances will Participant be permitted to legally obtain prizes, and Participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses; (2) ALL CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CONTEST OR PRIZE AWARDED MUST BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (iii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event shall Participant be entitled to attorneys’ fees or other legal costs.
