Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” is a must-see. Here’s when it will air


Surprisingly, the much-anticipated feature film from Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro has missed out on a pre-Halloween screening of the horror classic Frankenstein. Netflix this week.

A favorite project of del Toro for 15 years, this big-budget adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel follows the story of a daring experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both its creator and his tragic creation. Featuring Oscar Isaac as free scientist Victor Frankenstein, the film is the latest revival of the gothic classic, with Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi taking on the role of the film’s ultimate monster.

The big-name cast also includes Mia Goth as Victor’s mother and fiancée, while Inglourious Basterds pulls double duty.Christoph Waltz plays Heinrich Harlander, the suspicious financier of Victor’s misguided experiment in creating life.

When do you watch Frankenstein?

This feature-length horror film will be available to stream on Netflix from 3 a.m. ET, midnight PT, Friday, November 7. You can still watch it in theaters too, if you prefer the cinema experience.
