If it’s time to upgrade your phone, it’s worth considering Pixel 10aGoogle’s latest mid-range phone packs some (but not all) of the new software features for the $599 Pixel 10. Each color of the 128GB 10A — including the attractive “raspberry” tone — is down to $449 ($50 off) at Amazon, Best buyand Google Storewhere you can get it at a lower price through an eligible trade-in. This is the first cash discount we have seen since the phone was launched in early March. The 256GB version is also $50 off, retailing for $549 Amazon and Best buy.
If you look at our coverage of Pixel 10ait won’t take long to put the pieces together and confirm that we feel Google has played it safe with this year’s model. It is strikingly similar Pixel 9A last year – They both feature a Tensor G4 processor, as well as a camera array consisting of a 48MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide lens – but we wouldn’t suggest getting the 9A, at least for now. Its software support will end a year ago, and it’s currently more expensive than the 10A ($50 more at most retailers).
The 10A has a slightly brighter display, faster wired charging, and SOS satellite support, among other small differences. It also has two unique AI-powered features from the Pixel 10 series that aren’t available on the 9A: Camera Coach and Auto Best Take. However, there are no internal hardware differences in the latest version that would prevent features from reaching last year’s model.
