Google has Declare New search for videos that you store in Google Drive. This feature is offered to all Google users, starting today and completing by March 26.
The texts look like those you see on YouTube. If one of them is available, it will appear in a side bar next to the video as a bloc of the text, with a highlight of each block as it is spoken in the video you watch. The search bar sits on the top of this side tape, and the clicking on specific text blocks will take you to that moment in the video. You can see the texts by clicking the settings icon at the bottom of the video and then choosing “Transcript”.
The Transcript option is not available unless the video already contains illustrations, as shown in the CC button that appears in the control elements along the Google Drive video player. If the video does not have illustrative comments, you can create it by right -clicking on a video file in the drive, and choosing to “managing an illustrative label paths”, then “creating automatic illustrations”.
