For example, users can transfer learning to their TVs by asking Gemini to “Explain to my third grader why volcanoes erupt.” Google says Gemini can also guide users through DIY projects or recipes using YouTube videos.

To access Gemini on Google TV Streamer, you need to press the microphone button on the remote.

Google says the update will be rolled out “over the next few weeks” to users aged 18 and older.

This step comes as Google Announced back in September It was offering Gemini for Google TV to select TCL devices. Later in the year, Gemini will arrive on the 2025 Hisense U7, U8 and UX models, and the 2025 TCL QM7K, QM8K and X11K models, the company said at the time.
