Google brings Gemini to Google TV Streamer

Google Announce On Monday, Gemini began rolling out to Google TV Streamer, replacing Google Assistant. The tech giant says the change will enable users to use their voices more naturally to access content and more.

For example, users can now ask a question like: “I like dramas but my wife likes comedies. What movie can we watch together?” When you’re looking for movie recommendations.

Or users can quickly catch up on a show they’re returning to by asking a question like, “What happened at the end of Outlander last season?” In another example, Google says users can also ask a question like, “What’s the new hospital drama everyone’s talking about?”

Google says Gemini for TV goes beyond just entertainment, as users can ask any other type of question to the AI assistant as well, just as they can with Gemini on their phone.

For example, users can transfer learning to their TVs by asking Gemini to “Explain to my third grader why volcanoes erupt.” Google says Gemini can also guide users through DIY projects or recipes using YouTube videos.

To access Gemini on Google TV Streamer, you need to press the microphone button on the remote.

Google says the update will be rolled out “over the next few weeks” to users aged 18 and older.
