Gemini gets a new notebooks feature that syncs with NotebookLM

Having a dedicated space to keep things in one place is great in itself for Gemini, but you can use these notebooks in NotebookLM too.

Notebooks make it easy to keep all information on a particular topic in one place and give Gemini everything he needs without having to manually add details again. Now, this integration goes even further, and you can create notebooks directly in Gemini.

Notebooks can be synced between Gemini and NotebookLM, making data in one tool instantly available in the other. This means that you can add items to your Gemini notebook and you will immediately have the option to create a file Video overviewOr an infographic or other output within NotebookLM. Having the same synchronized notebook in both tools allows you to use each tool in its own way with the same database.

When the feature is available, you will see a new feature Notebooks Section in Gemini’s side menu bar, allowing you to quickly create a section or access other sections you’ve created in the past.
