Microsoft has given racing game fans a treat Dive deeper In the upcoming Forza Horizon 6 game, it announced a May 19 release date for Xbox and PC on Friday. Premium Edition buyers will get early access on May 15, but PlayStation 5 owners will have to wait until later in 2026 to play.

Microsoft says the open-world game will focus on Japanese car culture, with the player taking on the role of a newcomer to the country guided by two close friends, motorsport fan Jordy and car maker Mei.
The sites will be divided into regions, ranging from busy urban areas such as Tokyo’s Shibuya crossing to suburbs, industrial land and more rural areas.

Progression in the game will include unlocking new cars and more advanced races, as well as a journal of digital memorabilia inspired by stamp collecting.
