OpenAI Sora 2 launched less than two months ago, and it’s already taking over our social media channels. New Sora AI Video Generator app offers approx No limits Possibilities (although you have to pay to create more videos after reaching your daily cap). Initially, early users were given an invite code to test the latest features, but all that has changed now.
OpenAI grants now Users can access the US, Canada, Japan, and South Korea without a code. Gone are the days of jumping through hoops to reach out and join a viral trend. But OpenAI says availability is “for a limited time only.”
If you’re outside those regions, you’ll still need to wait until you can gain broader access or find the invite code. Here’s how it works.

Once you log in, you can immediately start watching, sharing, and creating AI-generated videos in your Sora Feed.
If you don’t live in these countries, you’ll need to try one of the following methods to sign in.
Sora is available from OpenAI as an iOS app and through Sora.com.
To get the invitation code, follow these initial steps:
OpenAI mentioned in a mail It has begun the initial rollout in the United States and Canada and intends to quickly expand to additional countries. The company gives priority to paying Pro users to access Sora, but you don’t have to be a paid user to access Sora. Android users won’t be able to swipe the app, but they can use the invite code to create AI videos with Sora 2 through a web browser.
Once you have the invitation code, you can finish setting up your Sora account. You can then use Sora through the mobile app or website, and you’ll have access to four new invitation codes to share with your friends.
If you don’t want to wait to navigate the queue in OpenAI, you can also try your luck through Discord. Here’s how.
Pay attention to the OpenAI server rules, and do not sell Sora 2 invite tokens.
(Disclosure: Ziff Davis, CNET’s parent company, in April filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, alleging that it infringed Ziff Davis’s copyrights in training and operating its AI systems.)
