Definition in the future of display glasses, nerve tape

The comfortable band was comfortably wrapped around my wrist easily the most wonderful disclosure of Meta Connect. The nervous band is called and gathered with the new Meta Ray-Ban View Glasses add gestures and motion sensing that makes the experience feel completely future – full of questions that have not been answered.

I spoke with CTO from Meta CTO for some answers. He was wearing the exhibition glasses himself, discussing the evidence of special waves that make the lenses transparent, and the possibility of the nerve band possibility and why the described lenses with a higher index of gay people are still not available.

The nerve band such as remote control, keyboard or adaptive supplement

Bosworth says that electrical nervous scope technology can adapt to individual behaviors and may serve a wide range of access functions. Currently, the band only works with Ray-Ban width glasses, but Meta is conceived as a possible interface for other products as well.

One of the possible uses is a remote control. “Once you start using it regularly, you put it on your wrist and only start using it every day, it becomes strange that you do not use it for more things like taking a TV with a distance.” “We believe the chance to be a larger entry platform over time is really large.”

We also talked about writing possibilities, and Meta research groups have discussed in the past. Busworth says two nervous tapes will be needed, but it is explored. “Something really happens when you have two of these, you can also do writing. This is not a guarantee. We can do writing with a largely effective landing cameras, but they are (it’s) expensive.”

When talking to Meta from Andrew Bosworth on the Meta campus, you also look at a transparent nervous design.

I also asked about access: Is it possible to use the band to help someone who has a lower group of motor skills, or is there no hand at all? Answer? Not yet, but the adaptive functions of the next stage are planned.

“This is primarily trained on a model for people who send their engine signals in high accuracy on the appendix they move,” says Busworth. “I don’t think we have done any of the work yet to understand how this will affect a person with his limbs and loss, or no one has.”

But he sees a possibility. “There is no essential limit here. I think we can do a lot with this technology, and we are excited about it.”

Will glasses or band also work as fitness followers?

We talked about fitness on glasses, which is something that dips a finger with the next Oakli Meta Vandard Stones that pairs with Garmin watches. Meta Ray-Ban will not work with fitness applications yet, but this may change.

Can the nervous band eventually work as a fitness tracker, or even a watch band for devices like Garmin watches? maybe.

“We are looking for a large collection of options,” says Busworth. “We already have plans to reduce all these pieces (on a scale), increase the signal that we can get from the wrist, and put more sensing – either here or in conjunction with other things like the watch or screen.”

Will glasses work with more artificial intelligence models and partners?

I would like to see Meta glasses working with artificial intelligence beyond, such as Chatgpt or Google’s Gemini. Although Busworth did not adhere to anything specific, he was expressing his interest in more flexibility of applications and even artificial intelligence models.

“As it happens often, with Gen 1, you often have to do this yourself,” says Bosworth on manufacturers on display glasses and their exclusive focus on Meta Ai. “Obviously, we hope this will be a platform that supports a large collection of consumer applications.”

I have led the Meta Ray-Ban Test Test and the nervous band, but my vision is not compatible with them. You need additional infections (as shown here, although it is not a representative of how the recipes supported in the end appear).

Maybe my prescription will be possible, one day

I need a very powerful prescription and wear curved lenses with a high index that does not work with exhibition glasses-so far. Busworth explained that the perpetrator is the current flat lenses of Ray-Ban glasses. Meta is working on possible solutions, but it seems that the design will need some changes to make it viable.

I wonder if Meta may eventually think about the inclusion of magnetic lenses, such as Rokid plans to Next smart glassesOr as it is currently VR headphones Used. During my offer, I tried a well -working accessory, although it made the lenses more thicker. I was delighted though if this means that I can actually use it.
