Charlie Kerk was shot at the Turning Point Usa event in Utah

With a tremendous sadness and a tremendous shock that Charlie Kerk, who was invited by the TPUSA student group, was shot at approximately 12:20 when he started speaking at his planned event on the campus of the University of Utah Valley Oureim. Kirk was immediately transferred by the security team to a local hospital.

The campus was immediately evacuated. The campus was closed and the classrooms were canceled until further notice. We ask those who are still on campus to secure them so that police officers can escalate safely outside the campus. The accident is currently being investigated by four agencies: Urim Police, UVU Police, the Federal Investigation Office and the Public Safety Department in Utah.
