Apple’s AirDrop feature now works with more Pixel phones


If you are Android User at sea apple– With family members or friends, sharing media with them may have become easier. More Android devices are now compatible with AirDrop as Google’s Quick Share feature expands across devices. Google announced this week.

In november, Quick Share has been expanded to Pixel 10 devices. And now it expands to Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

“This expansion makes sharing high-resolution files with friends on iPhone, iPad or MacOS devices easier than ever,” the announcement said in part, adding that Quick Share is “designed with multi-layered security at its foundation.”

Quick Share is currently available on eight Pixel devices in the 9 and 10 series. However, it is not available on 9AIt is not clear why, or whether this will happen soon Quick Share will reportedly be available on more unannounced Android devices later in 2026. The feature is currently in the rollout phase for 9 Series devices. Apple wouldn’t comment on the lack of Quick Share on the 9A.

Just remember that if you’re trying to use Quick Share, make sure your Apple user’s AirDrop settings are turned to Everyone instead of Contacts Only so the devices can interact.
