Apple may be taking a new approach to advertising its upcoming products

Apple has The technical press called to a “special Apple experience” on March 4, but it may be revealed slightly differently than the company’s standard press event.

Instead of announcing everything in one keyword, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported Apple plans a ‘three-day wave of advertising’ – It is intended to be announced online, and will culminate in a March 4 “experience” that will consist of three events in New York, London and Shanghai, where the press will be given a chance to learn about the upcoming products.

Likewise, Daring Fireball’s John Gruber speculated on the possibility of such an experiment “Something practical with in-person demos.”

Apple will reportedly announce at least five new products during that period, including a lower-cost MacBook. Other reported possibilities: iPhone 17e, iPad Air with M4 chip, new entry-level iPad, updated MacBook Air, and new MacBook Pro models. Gorman said all of those products are scheduled to be introduced this spring, but he seemed less certain about which products will be announced and when.
