Apple has introduced a new MacBook Air on its website, providing improved performance while maintaining the familiar design. The new laptop is equipped with the Apple M4 chip, which is the latest addition to the M-Series chips.
MacBook Air comes in sizes. Customers can choose between 13 inches and 15 inches. Pricing starts from $ 999 for 13 inches, which is $ 100 than the previous income price of $ 1,099.
This 16GB update maintains a random access memory in the basic composition, without changing last year. This means that MacBook Air at the entrance level still meets the minimum Apple intelligence requirements.
The former MacBook Air Models had two Thunderbolt 3 outlets. Apple still offers Thunderbolt outlets, but it upgrades those ports to Thunderbolt 4. customers also get the Magsafe 3 charging port and an old headphone socket outlet 3.5 mm.
Although MacBook Air is lighter and affordable than MacBook Pro, these advantages come with some barters. For example, MacBook Pro provides longer battery life and features a Mini Mini screen with a higher pixel density.
Despite these differences, the MacBook Air is still one of the best -selling laptops due to its good balance between performance and price. Although the M4 update is not a fundamental change, it is likely to keep a strong sale, similar to the M3 MacBook Air.
Apple was first offered M4 chip with iPad Pro in May 2024. Over the past year, the company has gradually transferred its product assortment to the M4 chip, with MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and IMAC now includes M4 Chips or Pro and Max variables.
