Apple sent out invitations to media on Monday to attend a “Private Apple Experience” in New York, London and Shanghai, scheduled for March 4 at 9 a.m. ET.
Unlike Apple’s major product launch events, which tend to take place at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, this event can be on a smaller, simpler scale. The invite features a modified version of the Apple logo with a gradient design, ranging from yellow to blue – which could hint at the colors we’ll see featured on incoming devices.
Apple is widely expected to unveil several new products in the coming weeks, including iPhone 17eThe eighth generation iPad Air and several new MacBook models. It’s unclear whether the experience will host any or all of these launches, especially since the latest rumors about the iPhone 17e point to a February launch date, which could be as early as this week.
Traditionally, Apple streams its events live, though it has yet to say whether that will be the case for its “experience.” Either way, CNET will bring you full coverage of the launch event.
This particular event clashes with another major event on the tech calendar: MWC. The Barcelona Mobile Show runs from March 2-5, and will produce a slew of new devices from major phone brands hoping to compete with Apple’s established iPhones, which could include a new addition.
