Apple is bringing its App Store to the web

Apple has launched its own App Store on the web, providing a central hub where you can browse different categories of apps across all of the company’s devices, as previously spotted by MacRumors and 9to5Mac. Now, when you move to apps.apple.comyou’ll see the revamped interface instead Web page Which only contains information about the app store.

However, there is no way to download apps from the App Store on the web. Apple only gives you the option to share or open an app directly within the App Store installed on your device.

Along with the ability to switch between app lists for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, Apple Watch, and Apple TV, you can see recommendations in the Today tab as well as sort apps by category, like Productivity, Entertainment, Adventure, and more.

The new web-based app store also serves as a portal through which you can search for apps as well. Apple previously provided web pages for each of its apps, but they weren’t easy to access or search unless it was from a direct link.
