Amazon has embarrassingly edited weapons out of James Bond art


Last week, in honor of James Bond Day, Amazon revealed updated poster art for the films. But fans immediately noticed that the super spy’s signature was the Walther PPK Clearly missing From every picture. In some cases it was It was clearly photoshopped and not clumsy. Unsurprisingly, fans are baffled by the change. Some were simply amazed that Amazon would do this with such a premium property, and others accused the company of being “woke.” Since then, the thumbnails have been quietly updated to use stills from the films, though fans were quick to note that all of the selected images are gun-free as well. At least one, still for Skyfallit still appears to have been modified to remove a firearm. As of press time, Amazon had not yet responded to a request for comment.
