Nearly two years after it was announced at the beginning, it was said that EA had canceled the black tiger game that was in the works, and the publisher closed the studio that was developing the game.
According to a report issued by IGN, news of the cancellation of Black Panther came on Wednesday. Besides canceling the game and closing the studio, EA lay off additional workers from different teams, but there were no details about the number of people affected.
An email from EANTERTAINMENTENT LAURA MIELE head has developed these changes in addition to the details of the demobilization of workers, saying that the changes were “sharpening our focus and putting our creative capacity behind the most important growth opportunities,” according to IGN.
“These decisions are difficult,” Millie wrote in an email, according to IGN. “They influence the people we worked with, learned through it, and shared real moments with them. We are doing everything we can to support them, including finding opportunities inside EA, where we have succeeded in helping people decline in new roles.”
EA did not immediately respond to a request to comment on canceling the game.
EA formed Cliffhangir toys to develop one player Black Panther. He was headed by Studio Kevin Stevens, a former Vice President of Monolith’s production, which made the middle stage: shadow of Mordor and Al -Awsat: Shadow of War Games. A few other details about the game were known unlike that it was supposed to take place in Wakanda, the imaginary black house.
This black tiger game is different from Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra The game that was announced again in 2022. This game was expected to display Captain America and Azuri, the grandfather of Takla, who was the black tiger during World War II. Marvel 1943 is published by Skydance New Media, participated with Plaion. It was scheduled to come out at the beginning this year, but Skydance announced earlier the month that the game Pay again to early 2026.
