- Essential. Philips Hue has a new assortment of cheaper smart lamps that start from $ 25 per bulb (or $ 15 each as part of four packages), making them much cheaper than the leading lights that change colors. The parent company also announced New bridge, more new lightsAnd Wire video bell.
- Faris Faris: Silksong. Cherry years in making Faris Faris Finally, the early indicators indicate that they are a worthy follow -up. There is still a lot to discover, but if you discover from Wadi Stardo creator Eric Baron’s sounds in the gameCan you tell me?
- Instagram for iPad. Nearly 15 years of Instagram initially launch for iOS, the social network now has an official iPad application. But the application has a video -focused development: When opening it, the application shows you to feed short -shaped rollers. Meta says Android tablets will get the new design soon.
- Paper. Peacock’s Spinoff of Office He appeared for the first time in a big batch this week, and it appears to be so Really goodEven if it takes a few episodes to strike his step. It was really It was renewed for the second seasonalso.
- Samsung Galaxy S25 FE. Samsung has a new model in the most affordable FE line, as the S25 FE requires some inspiration from the S25 Edge by being thinner and lighter than its predecessor. The company also launched new S11 and S11 Ultra tablets With the designed S pen.
- A great step for professional paper. Wonderful contains a new digital note, and with a 7.3 -inch slim screen, it is one that you can theoretically drop in your pocket. I am a big fan of small paper computers, so the idea of using E ink looks really fun for me.
- Chipolo episode. This new tracking and chipolo card They both follow have rechargeable batteries instead of asking alternatives. It will last up to six months on charges of fees and work with Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find Hub Networks.
- MPHIE Max Headphones Carging Stand. The new MPHIE charging holder is designed to charge AirPods Max and AirPods Pro (or another device compatible with the Qi) simultaneously. To charge AirPods Max, you will connect the Dongle USB-C and moisturize the headphones in the pregnant woman, which will automatically put it in stillness. It looks very useful, although it is slightly expensive at $ 150.
Today I am showing Paul ShotsenFounder of the famous smart home automation platform House assistant And the head of the open home institution. With a lot of smart home news that comes out of IFA 2025 conference this weekI was calculating that this would be the perfect time to display his head screen. I was very curious how someone in the world of smart home actually uses his phones day after day – which is not surprising, that Paul put a lot of thinking about preparing the main screen.
Side note: I originally obtained these Paulus responses about his homescreen in August, but he told me this week that he had moved since then to Google Pixel. The setting is largely the same, with a marked change to use more web applications.
Phone: I have iPhone 15 Pro.
background: The background is the unclear version of the background of my lock screen, which is a drawing of the home assistant. I never liked crowded wallpapers because it makes it difficult to read letters.
Applications: The symbols on the gay screen are limited as I try to reduce the use of the screen.
- The piece at the top is a smart staple that shows the battery, calendar, weather and theme. I had to disable the proposed needs because Apple showed me ads for McDonald’s supported from Yelp and DooDash.
- House assistant It is on the home screen because it is the best smart home platform in the world.
- I do not have social media applications on my phone, and I only use them Blouse and Mastodon Via website. In this way, it is a bad experience and is likely to stop using it.
- I used to use it Kishi Browser (discovered across Stabilize!). I have created it with a few web sites in which I repeat and set the user interface so that you can quickly (see the second screenshot) open it. After switching to pixels, I dropped the Quiche browser and installed my favorite websites as applications on my phone.
- For artificial intelligence I currently use it Claude. I was using Chatgpt Before, but nowadays, use the Claude Max subscription to be able to take advantage of the Claude programming code, so I turned the character AI into Claude as well.
- bracket It is like the screen because IOS is amazing: it’s not a browser. Instead, it displays all my reference signals from my desktop. When opening a reference signal on my phone, it is supported by an original application (for example, Google documents), this application will already open. Very useful as two files to organize files via different platforms. I also use ARC on the desktop and already grieved on the day the browser will stop updating it.
- Lush I use notes. I only started using it, this is actually due to the re -launch of the pebble watches and the rise of artificial intelligence. Pebble watches do not work well on iOS due to the limited applications of external parties. It has made me realize that Apple’s notes have the same restrictions. I need open systems so I don’t have to wait until my devices/software makers do great things. So I turned into Obsidian, which stores all my notes in folders with Markdown files. The procedure button is set to allow me to write quickly without seeing all other notes. I have written a small text that allows me to add Amnesty International’s instructions inside the folders in my notes, and whenever I update a note, the Clauds Code will run automatically to follow my instructions. For example, my shopping menu is automatically classified and the procedure elements are collected at the top of the personal meeting notes.
I also asked Paul to share some of the things he faces now. This is what he said:
- Amnesty International! Claude icon surprising. To be able to work on an issue during its meetings, and it has made me the fastest comments between the meetings. I have finished things that I had no time to otherwise. I also like to use Claude Code with my 7 -year -old child, and push our imagination to find out what Claude comes with. On the last day, we made a Bong game that would change the color of light through the home assistant on every ball wearing.
- Z-wah. We just launched Assistant Delivery ZWA-2We have the best antenna for this smart home standard. They are huge, above foot, and can reach all devices everywhere.
- Attach to friends and family. We live in Brooklyn, but we spend summer in Europe, and fully take advantage of a remote work. Spending time in the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary and Denmark.
- Season 3 of institution On Apple TV Plus again excellent.

“I went to a A weekend documentary on BethonProgramming language, and I thought it was worth sharing. I am not developed myself, but I found it really attractive. It tells the story of how this small and calm language has grown to form areas such as climate science, astronomical physics, encryption and AI. The film also touches some dangerous conflicts in society that caused it to be broken almost, and made me think about how different the technology world today if this happens. Even if you are not developed, this is amazingly convincing. Haley
