A budget MacBook makes sense — but crushing a Chromebook won’t be easy

It is said that Apple manufactures Low cost MacBook Use Processors in the iPhoneaimed at students and casual users, all to boost MacBook sales by challenging cheaper Chromebooks and Windows PCs. Reports say it could come in some fun colors too.

Using a Chromebook is a battle beyond the price tags. It’s about winning over schools, where the Chromebook rules the classroom. For Apple to appeal to K-12, this machine must be durable, repairable, and easy for IT departments to shut down.

Apple knows the value of working with education. The colorful iMac G3 Apple devices were a staple in many classrooms in the 1990s, gaining loyal customers as my generation grew up. Apple has tried introducing iPads into classrooms, but it hasn’t worked.

Could a new generation of elementary school students find themselves working with colorful Macs? At home, maybe. At school? This educational discount must be very tempting to get teachers thinking about ditching their well-established Google systems.
