In the first episode of his new podcast, Gavard Gavin Newo broke some news Last week: He no longer argued with the Democratic Party on Trans Rights.
He invited the right provocateur Charlie Kirk to his show, unobstructed, and continued to agree with him whether Trans athletes should be able to compete in the sports of the girls. The interview seemed deliberately created to show how much they had – for example, when the Newsom complained about how strange it was when people share their pronouns at a meeting.
This was the Newsom showreleased to his issue, which means that none of it was an incident. This is his brand now. He wants the public to know that he agrees with Kirk.
Well, this now includes my family. In most respects we are completely boring. We go to school-or rather she runs away and continue. We deal with my sister and her young children in LA in two minutes before someone joyfully pressed the red button. We cook every night as it is expensive to live in California.
It seems to us for us because we need specific legal protection. I am a lesbian, my partner has wore our child and she has been known for decades that she is not a man or a woman. We are both in the birth certificate of my child, but I received an adoption of a second parent just in case. My husband had an operation that affirmed a skirt a year ago.
You may be wondering what pronouns he uses if you were, for example, meeting her.
Have 2.8 million of us in this countryThe largest LGBTQ population in the country. We live here for a reason. Some of us grew up here and are glad they can stay. Some of us land here, looking for peace and safety. I lived in Missouri, Texas, Florida, Connecticut and New York and calculate my level of geographical safety almost unconsciously.
Regardless of the fires, California is where I feel the most.
Some of us are young, and some of us remember the old times. We know how it is a sense of political pawn, for example, when California voted against gay marriages in 2008 or when George Bush was re -elected to Bashing Gay Rights In 2004, I owe many layers of the happiness of my life to Queer and Trans people fighting before meAnd I don’t forget them.
Newsom himself saves in the office of the governor of a memory of the same -sex marriage he ordered In San Francisco in 2004, refuting a federal ban and attracted to the Californians who found him bold.
But instead of leading a vision for California that many people actually want, he has decided to tempt people from people for an imaginary voter in the Midwest in PresidentS This is the right scenario for 2024 repetition: they push scary political ideas, while the liberals, in an attempt to sound difficult, to accept them instead of turning them off. (I wish I could forget when former Vice President Kamala Harris Praised for her Glock.)
However, this is a trap because then these fearsome ideas become basic and Newsom falls for it.
This trap has real consequences for the LGBTQ community. Trans athletes were the Salvo discovery in a gaming book that is already underway in the red states: Elimination of Health for Trans Children leads directly to the removal of healthcare for trans -adults, As in Texas Bill HB3817S Political genitals lead to Suggestions like Georgia’s HB 267Which is for trance athletes, but it would also limit options for a parental birth certificate to the “mother” and “father”.
Californians do not want some of the regressive laws or fanatics they embody. We are proud to live in a place where trans people live where our rights are never questioned and where our leaders are shown to us.
No one has chosen Governor Newsom to make friends with the right influences. We need it to present us and this includes both Queer and Trans Californians.
