The model shown in experimental offers is Alef Model Zero Ultralight, which, as the name suggests, is a lighter initial model used for research and development. It has some major differences from the company’s first production vehicle, ALF A.

While the Zero Ultralight has a smaller battery to maintain its weight, the largest battery in the ALEF is expected to have a flying range of 110 miles or a 200 mile driving range. These numbers may increase if the company is considered a new battery technology.

The insomnia and smaller wheels of the traditional car also help reduce the weight of the car while allowing it to drive in different conditions.

Although Zero Ultralight requires an experienced pilot at the present time, the CEO of ALF and co -founder Jim Dukhovny says the model A will be much easier for the average person.

It is expected that the speed of optimal cruises in the air for the model A will be about 100 mph, as the maximum speed will be about 225 miles per hour. On the ground, the car is currently registered as a low -speed tool for search and development purposes, which means that it is limited to a top speed of about 25 miles per hour. Dukhouvny says the high ground speed is possible and the final goal; It only requires a collision test and organizational approval. Until then, the company was not yet ready to break the initial model.

Alef is previously accepted for its model A, which is expected to cost about $ 300,000. Like most startups, the price is likely to decrease as the production volume increases.
