I don’t care if Siri’s conversation lands on my iPhone in 2027 or at all

“I say,”, I play Fetty Wap in Spotify, “I say, stare on the Spotify page of the rapper on my iPhone in a work space in the cafe.

“I’m sorry”, IPhone Siri responds through AirPods. “I didn’t take it completely.”

I only repeat myself to Siri on the MacBook on the office in front of me to understand and start playing music for everyone to hear.

“Siri, stop,” I say and stops music coming from my laptop and peace is restored. IPhone Siri says nothing, may be ashamed of himself – if a digital assistant can feel shame.

MacBook Siri worked technically, but I didn’t want MacBook Siri to work, I wanted to work iPhone Siri. If you have used the play button on my iPhone, you will not carry this comedy adventure.

During the presentation of the developers conference all over the world for 2024, promotions were described to the Apple Digital Siri assistant through Apple intelligence. However, according to BloombergSiri, which has not radically updated, may not arrive until 11 months after this announcement, and we may have to wait until 2027 until Siri gets more conversations with iOS 19.

Based on my experience in the cafe (and my experience with Siri in general) my thoughts were: whatever it was.

If Siri fell more conversation on my iPhone, I will not use Siri more. I will try to find a way to use the digital assistant less than I really do.

Apple merged Siri into iPhone in 2011, and the company has updated the digital assistant since then. While Apple brought more capabilities to Siri-such as the integration of third-party applications-it is still suffering from problems whenever they use them.

Here lies my main problem with Siri: When Siri makes a mistake, I feel that I am wasting the time to do something that I could do faster and more efficient.

Certainly, Siri can make phone calls while driving, but this may lead to dispersed driving.

The administration indicates that dispersed leadership caused more than 3000 deaths in 2022, the last year in which data is available. While none of these deaths was directly due to the use of sound aides, I still do not want to use Siri in a way that can expose myself and others in danger.

My solution is not to use Siri. It is highly accurate and I do not need to use it to carry out the basic tasks on my iPhone.

Siri’s family nature is a well -known issue among some apple engineers, according to a report from New York Times. In the report, John Burke, a former Apple engineer who worked on Siri, likened Siri to “one big snowball”, saying the more Siri gets an addition. Burkey said in the report that this means that there is no way to walk to work as a creative assistant, such as Chatgpt or other artificial intelligence tools.

But now, after Apple has become a partnership with Openai and Chatgpt, Apple has become more integrated into Siri on some devices in iOS 18.2This should not be a problem, right? Perhaps, but I have already faced problems with Chatgpt on my iPhone.

When I used Chatgpt in iOS 18.2, I asked for this to give me instructions on how to prepare a cup of coffee, but the instructions told me to measure my coffee before grinding any pills. I asked for this again and got a more clear answer with appropriately arranged steps.

There is a liability at the bottom of these Chatgpt requests: “Check important information about errors.” But if you are using a digital assistant like ChatGPT, I do not have to check for errors. This is the reason for using a digital assistant in the first place. I do not verify that the answer to the calculator is correct and I shouldn’t know when Chatgpt is wrong.

So if I already have problems with an inaccurate universe, ChatgPt can only be useful part of the time, why should I use it? If you want to be frustrated while using my phone, I would have kept the BlackBerry curve a decade ago. I just want any phone I have to work on.

So, take all the time you need to update Siri and make it more conversations or completely cancel the plan. Fortunately, I should not use Siri or Chatgpt on my iPhone until it works well. It is already without these features.
