Rocco Town comes alive with live short films and an interactive tour

The streaming company on Thursday introduced a new way to bring its customers to the screen with See You in Roku, which takes you into its world through movies and some interactive features.

Viewers can enter the purple city and watch scenes from Roku General Hospital, or watch a thrilling showdown between gangsters over log-sharing.

Aside from these movies, you can also hike around the volcano, go check out the Kraken in the bay or use your Roku remote for other adventures around the city.

“Roku has always been full of mystery — and that’s honestly part of the magic,” said Damon Van Deusen, vice president of brand at Roku. “We wanted to reward fans’ curiosity rather than keep them guessing. ‘See You in Roku’ is our way of finally opening up, while maintaining the character that made people fall in love with Roku City in the first place.”

This isn’t the first time the streaming giant has tinkered with its brand. Last April, the company launched City Dash, a spaceship-themed video game that viewers can play on the home screen. In May, Rocco gave Home page makeover big To make the interface more personalized.
