Samsung has unveiled a new flexible display technology for foldable phones that is designed to be slimmer, more durable, and less prone to wrinkling. the Titanium flex technology This is the culmination of everything the company has learned over seven generations of foldable devices, according to Samsung, and will debut with the upcoming release. Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Since Samsung Display is a long-time Apple supplier, this improved display may appear in… The iPhone is rumored to be foldable Expected later this year.
As its name suggests, the Flex Titanium Display uses a combination of two titanium-based components to improve strength, flexibility, and thinness. A layer of titanium alloy provides structural support from the bottom of the OLED panel, providing “20 times greater mechanical rigidity” compared to the polymer layer, and is about a third the thickness of an average human hair.
The titanium plate underneath the film allows for a tighter attachment to the display unit, improving stability when unfolded while “retaining the flexibility necessary to accommodate frequent folding,” according to Samsung. This new display technology will also consume less power and produce an “ultra HD” display resolution.
“Together, these advances enable a powerful foldable display that increases the immersion of content on a seamless display and reduces the visibility of wrinkles – all while maintaining the thinness of the screen,” Samsung said in its announcement. By balancing strength, flexibility and structural stability, Samsung continues to set the standard for foldable displays.
More details about the offer will be available at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event On July 22, Samsung’s latest foldable devices are expected to be showcased.
