Nintendo’s Talking Flower game has received a small price cut

If you’re the type who can always use a little extra positive affirmation, or have a weakness for contraptions, a talking flower might be of interest to you. I’m just kind of serious. The game is based on the character of Super Mario Bros Wonder Who guides Mario through the levels with whimsical observations. It’s a bit strange that it actually exists, but then again, this is the company that made it warning.

The Talking Flower debuted at $34.99, but has received a small price cut Amazon and Walmart. It will instead cost you $29.99 to purchase the cute talking toy.

The talking flower isn’t of much use. Unlike Alarm $110It can’t act as an alarm though, as it asks you when you go to bed and wake up (so it knows when to shut up). He’s there to call you every hour that passes while you’re awake, and to say random things without warning. It can provide feedback on the general time of day, as well as the temperature thanks to the built-in thermometer. The Talking Flower does not have a microphone and does not connect to the Internet. However, it does have a button that makes it say things, if you don’t want to wait for it to randomly spout its pre-programmed thoughts. Just like in the video game, you can choose which language to speak.

My colleague Andrew Webster participated in the practical training With the talking flower, what he concluded was that it was just a drip-feeding of whimsy. However, he would occasionally say something to remind Andrew to take care of himself, whether it was to slow down and relax or to take a lunch break. I’ve enjoyed several reviews on Amazon, which highlight that buyers are divided on their annoyance with the talking flower, but love it anyway – just like the character in He wonders.
