The Scottish Open returns to the Renaissance Club this week, with the tournament once again featuring one of the strongest lineups outside the Grand Slam.
Bringing together most of the big names from both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, this weekend’s event at North Berwick offers players one last chance to qualify for the final major tournament of the year, the Open. It takes place next weekend at Royal Birkdale Golf Club.
Chris Guttrup is back to defend the crown he won last year, after a tough battle against Rory McIlroy, who is also back to take on the rugged and demanding coastal course as the bookies’ favourite. The star-studded field also includes world number one Scottie Scheffler, who is looking to improve on his eighth-place finish at last year’s tournament. Jon Rahm will appear in his first PGA Tour event outside the majors since his controversial switch to LIV Golf three years ago.
Defending Scottish Open champion Chris Guttrup will be looking to make it back-to-back wins after winning the John Deere Classic last weekend.
What is the US TV schedule for the 2026 Scottish Open?
While Golf Channel has exclusive rights to show Thursday and Friday matches live, the main linear television coverage in the United States is through CBS, which will show the final stages of the tournament. This coverage will also be available to watch via the Paramount Plus streaming service. For more comprehensive coverage, live PGA Tour coverage takes place Thursday through Sunday on ESPN Plus, offering recaps of main events, highlights, highlight groups and featured hole coverage. ESPN Plus content can be streamed through the ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited packages.

Linear television coverage in the United States is available on CBS, which will show the later stages of the tournament. This coverage will also be available to watch via the Paramount Plus streaming service.
Paramount Plus has two main subscription plans in the US: Essential for $9 per month and Premium Plus for $14 per month. They both offer John Deere Classic coverage.
The cheaper basic option has ads for on-demand streaming, but lacks live CBS feeds and the ability to download shows to watch later offline. Students may qualify for a 25% discount.
Live PGA Tour coverage is available all four days, Thursday through Sunday, on ESPN Plus, which will offer recaps of the main events, highlights, highlights and featured hole coverage.
ESPN Plus content can be accessed via ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited Flow packages. ESPN Select carries ESPN Plus and is the cheapest option at $13 per month.

Golf Channel’s coverage of the early stages of the tournament can be streamed on Peacock.
Peacock currently costs $11 per month for the ad-supported Peacock Premium plan and $17 per month for the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus plan.
Four of the major live TV services also offer The Golf Channel.

Golf fans in the UK can watch the tournament live on Sky Sports. It will be broadcast on Sky Sports Golf and Main Events, with further coverage on the Red Button service.
Viewers in the UK can watch the 2026 Scottish Open on Sky Sports Golf, with comprehensive coverage of play every day. Subscribers can also stream the event via the Sky Go app. Sky subsidiary Now (formerly Now TV) provides direct access to Sky Sports channels through a Now Sports membership.
