With a double celebration to celebrate, Macy’s 4th of July 2026 fireworks display is all set to light up the sky like never before. If you can’t get a prime spot to watch the screen or you’re far from the Big Apple, you can tune in to watch the show on TV.

The New York institution is now in its 50th year, a milestone that fits in nicely with this year’s Fourth of July celebrations marking America’s 250th birthday. With launch sites on the Harbor District’s Lower East River, the Lower Hudson River and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, this year’s show is set to feature more than 85,000 projectiles – the largest number ever – as well as groundbreaking laser elements.

What time does Macy’s 4th of July fireworks show start?

The two-hour television special will be broadcast live Saturday, July 4, at 8pm ET/PT on NBC and Peacock.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Terry Crews will host for the first time, while there’s a star-studded musical lineup including Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Salt-N-Pepa, Bebe Rexha, Shabuzi and Blake Shelton.

The show will conclude with a much-anticipated fireworks display, set to be powered by a soundtrack by Grammy Award-winning composer Jason Howland and featuring live vocals by Season 29 winner of The Voice Alexia Jayy.
