Tubi continues to release original content every month, and this month’s big title is Summer’s Last Resort, a vacation comedy about a teen named Summer (Violet McGraw) who’s tired of her single mother (Sophia Bush) choosing the wrong kind of men. Summer is horrified to learn that her mother has fallen in love with her dim-witted deputy director, Glenn (Jerry O’Connell), and worse, her mother has planned a Caribbean vacation for them all. It seems clear that Summer has no choice but to try to break them up, right? The new film hits the platform on July 3.
