The Cube Was a Lie: Get close to our Dbrand Companion Cube before it is destroyed


I couldn’t believe it. certainly Dbrand should have seen this coming. there He should That would be a backup plan, wouldn’t it?

“There’s no other plan. We’re screwed,” Adam Ijaz, Dbrand’s CEO, tells me now.

He says Dbrand will now have to destroy every cube it makes, and won’t even be able to throw it into an incinerator for it. Thematically appropriate fun.

Here’s the good news: I took close-up and personal photos of the (potentially) copyright-infringing tool for posterity on June 19th, before the lawyers went on strike. You can wistfully imagine what could have been, or use it as an outlet to gloat over Dbrand’s extremely embarrassing mistake…or both! I won’t judge.
