peacock It is home to some of the most addictive original reality series, including The Traitors, Love Island, and House of Villains. It’s also the streaming home of Bravo franchises like The Real Housewives, Summer House, and Top Chef. But while the platform has an impressive list of unscripted TV shows, you can also find amazing scripted shows, including the funny and dark Poker Face, dramas like All Her Fault, and more.
With its extensive library spanning all genres and an expansive roster of original and exclusive content, it seems like there’s always something new to try – or old favorites to enjoy. This month, one of the biggest new originals to hit the platform is The Five Star Weekend, a new series starring Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, D’Arcy Carradine, Chloë Sevigny, and Gemma Chan as friends who get together for a weekend getaway on Nantucket. (Garner’s 13 Going on 30 co-star Judy Greer appeared on the show, too!)
Also this month, you can watch a new season of Married at First Sight, plus blockbuster movies including Black Bag, Jaws, and more. Here’s a look at the titles we’re excited to see on Peacock in July 2026.
July 1
It’s a summer rite of passage at this point for at least one of the major streaming services to carry Jaws, the quintessential summer blockbuster. This year, Peacock will not only be abandoning the 1975 original, but also the following three sequels: Jaws 2, Jaws 3-D, and Jaws: The Revenge. Listen, none of the sequels are as good as the original, but every single one of them is a summer vibe. The movies arrive on Peacock on July 1, just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July with the terrified residents of Amity.
July 2
From the film’s plotline, Black Bag looks like a fun crime thriller about a British intelligence officer, George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender), who suspects that his wife (Cate Blanchett), who is also a spy, may be unfaithful and begins tracking her to gather evidence. But director Steven Soderbergh paints the film with his trademark brushstrokes, making it elegant and exciting thanks to the moody lighting and killer chemistry between the two leads. The tension is palpable throughout. The film, which was released in 2025 and was a personal favorite of ours last year, is available exclusively on Peacock starting July 2.
July 4th
Jaws isn’t the only summer viewing tradition you can watch on Peacock this month. Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks spectacular is back for its 50th year. The first was the nation’s bicentennial celebration in 1976, and this time it will be more festive than ever as America celebrates its 250th birthday. 85,000 fireworks shells in 30 different colors will light up the New York City sky, and the broadcast will include performances by Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Bebe Rexha, Salt-N-Pepa, Shabuzi, Blake Shelton and The Voice winner Alexia Gay. Peacock and NBC will broadcast the July 4th fireworks show starting at 8 p.m. ET.
July 9
Five Star Weekend may be the biggest Peacock Original to hit the streamer this July, if we’re talking sheer star power. The series, a beach read in TV format, is based on the novel by Elin Hilderbrand and stars Jennifer Garner as Hollis Shaw, a woman who invites four friends, played by Darcey Carradine, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall and Chloe Sevigny, to her Nantucket home for a lavish weekend getaway. But there are secrets buried deep in these friendships, and you know they’re bound to come out. All eight episodes of the series will be released at once on July 9.
July 10
Reminders of It is another title based on a bestseller. This film is based on Colleen Hoover’s book and stars Meka Monroe as Kenna, a woman who has just been released on parole after serving six years for manslaughter for an accident that killed her boyfriend. Now living in her boyfriend’s hometown, she tries to reconnect with his family, who has been raising her daughter, and finds unexpected support from his best friend (Tyreek Weathers). The cast also includes Lenny Wilson, Lauren Graham and Bradley Whitford. The film arrives exclusively on Peacock on July 10.
July 12
One of the most extreme reality dating shows out there, Married At First Sight features couples who have their first meeting at the altar, and see where things go from there. The series spent 18 seasons on A&E before moving to Peacock, where its 20th season will arrive on July 12.
