Android 17 arrives on Pixel phones today

After officially debuting last month, Google is now rolling out Android 17 to compatible Pixel phones, along with additional exclusive features as part of the June Pixel Drop. Foldables are also getting new game controls that display a touchscreen gamepad in the bottom half of the screen, while the game itself is located on the top, and all Android phones will be getting a remapping of the original controller. Several parental controls and expanded security features are also included in the update.

There are more new features rolling out exclusively to Pixel phones, though most of them are broader expansions of existing capabilities.
