In addition to introducing new ones Verizon Shine Loyalty Program On Tuesday, Verizon added two new plans to its program Line up Which offers incentives to customers who switch to the carrier.
the simplicity The plan costs $45 per line, but switchers who bring their numbers to Verizon pay $30 per month. That’s why you get unlimited data, roaming in Canada and Mexico, 10GB of fast mobile hotspot data, and satellite texting.
That’s just $5 more than Verizon’s entry-level Welcome Unlimited plan, but with a key difference. Verizon sets Unlimited Welcome apart from its other tiers by capping 5G speeds. Only the Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Ultimate plans offer the fastest 5G Ultra Wideband speeds. The Simplicity Plan gets faster data in areas where 5G UW is available.
Verizon offers the Simplicity plan as a simpler option, as it only includes connectivity, and customers can add optional perks like streaming services or cloud storage. The company also offers customized bundles, such as the For Movie and Show Lovers bundle that includes Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN Plus (with ads), Netflix, and HBO Max (with ads).
Other Verizon plans are structured like a la carte add-ons: You can choose a phone and data package, then optionally add perks one at a time.
As for getting new phone With the Simplicity plan, Verizon offers payment plans for devices in 12-, 24-, 36-, and 48-month terms.
Simplicity also turns out to be a bit more complicated, at least to call it. If you want to upgrade your phone every year, you can choose the Simplicity Plus or Simplicity Pro options, which aren’t different plans — they’re named after the price of the model you want. For example, high-end phones like the iPhone 17 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra fall under the Simplicity Pro classification. If you buy a budget phone with the plan, it’s just simplicity service with no option to upgrade to a new phone every year.
In addition to the Simplicity plan, Verizon is offering a new plan Verizon One Mobile and home internet package. Available to new customers, it costs $70 per month, including taxes and fees. Comparing that to what I can get in my area of Seattle, a 5G Home 100Mbps internet plan costs $35 per month when paired with a Verizon mobile plan. This is in addition to the Welcome Unlimited plan, which is priced at $55 per line, and adds up to $90 per month, plus taxes and fees.
The mobile phone specifications are the same as the Simplicity plan. Home Internet speed depends on what’s available in your area; If FIOS is an option, for example, the plan will start at 500Mbps. Customers can upgrade to faster speeds for an additional cost.
