Apple tells her Upgraded Siri AI It can take the stress out of party planning for those of us (myself included) who find ourselves overwhelmed when hosting social events.

As announced in Worldwide Developers Conference Out Monday, the updated Apple Intelligence (improved with some help from Google’s Gemini AI models) is designed to help you brainstorm ideas and take action across multiple apps and ask questions that require personal context or current online information.

It will be released in English later this year Apple intelligenceDevices that support conversational Siri AI technology will have their own dedicated app that works across devices, so you can ask a question on your iPhone and continue the conversation on your iPad. But it will also work across apps like Messages and Reminders to become your personal AI assistant. This can make him an exceptional party planner.

during WWDC Keynote Justin Teti, senior director of Intelligent Systems Experience Engineering at Apple, asked Siri AI on iOS to make a request World Cup scheduleOpening weekend. Siri AI then suggested dishes from Brazil and Morocco for a watch party centered around that match, found the dessert their daughter had recently mentioned in the Messages app, gathered all those dishes together for a full menu and sent that list to a specific group chat to see if its members were up for a watch party.

This is just one example, but it shows that Siri AI can handle the most tedious tasks of party planning by telling you when certain events are happening, giving you menu suggestions, searching your device to answer personal questions and even sending out a party invitation.

Speaking of invitations, there’s a new version of Apple’s AI-powered Photos app, Image Playground, which uses Apple’s intelligence to transform your photos. Since the app runs on a private cloud, photos are never stored or shared.

You can use Image Playground to create a birthday party invitation by taking a photo of a friend from your photo library and editing it to include a birthday cake with a simple description, explains Leslie Ikemoto, director of Input Experience at Apple. You can then enhance the photo further – adding candles to the cake and even changing your friend’s clothes to fit the party theme – by describing the changes you want or using touch.

For those who have a hard time creating or editing photos, Apple Intelligence also takes the guesswork out of it, so you can focus on the more fun aspects of party preparation. Personally, I prefer to save that time and effort in cooking.

Every step of party planning can now be done with Apple Intelligence, down to the last detail: writing and refining the invitation message in Messages or Mail, and adding and editing a calendar event based on the context of that invitation.

If I could avoid all the frustrating parts of party planning, I would. Starting this fall, with the improvements made by Apple Intelligence, I will do just that.
