The new update of NotebookLM will help you create source repository from chat

On Monday, Google announced an update to its system LM notebook Search tool includes new features and switch to Gemini 3.5 as the default model. The company also adds AntigravitySupported programming skills to help users search and generate different types of outputs.

This is similar to Google adding bits of programming to its site Searching Products to make it more attractive for questions and answers.

Google said that with the latest update, you can start a conversation about a project using the application, and this will help you build the knowledge base by suggesting different sources using search skills and Google search. This feature can help users obtain primary sources in other languages ​​or find new material from related authors.

Previously, NotebookLM required you to bring your own resources to start building a knowledge base in order to extract ideas.

The company added that users can now provide detailed instructions to NotebookLM to create outputs in different formats. Additionally, they can edit the output once it is created. The tool now supports exports in formats including data visualizations and graphs (.png, .svg); Documents (PDF, .docx, Markdown, and text files); Nano powered images banana; Structured data (.csv, .json); And Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Last year, the company introduced “Deep Search” mode for organized online searching. As the new feature rolls out, NotebookLM will show detailed steps in chat on how it accesses the answers for users to check the output.

Google said the updates are available to Google AI Ultra users and all corporate Workspace customers who use AI Ultra Access and AI Expanded Access starting today, with the aim of expanding them to include others.
