So you were busy and forgot your conservation Duolingo effect. Now, Duo, that little green owl, is angry with you, and you’re disappointed in yourself. Whether you’re studying a language, chess, math, music, or another course, consecutive mistakes aren’t a checkmate anymore.
The language learning program on Monday announced a month-long gift for forgetful customers. Starting Monday, players who lost a streak of consecutive learning days can regain that streak by completing three lessons in one sitting.
But if you’re going to skip a day, do it in June, because this restore feature only lasts for that month.
Fonts are important to many Duolingo customers. The company says more than 15 million players have a streak stretching back more than a year, which is unofficial Duolingo Font Hall of Fame He cited it USA Today Reports indicate that the longest Duolingo streaks span 13 years. It only takes one lost day to destroy a streak, so players who may be traveling, sick, or otherwise distracted can easily lose a streak that took years to build.
To rebuild your streak, it must be at least 30 days long, and learners must complete the three required lessons in the same play period.
Eligible learners will see the option appear in their application, prompting them to revive their streak.
Duolingo will offer you a chance to revive your lost streak, and honestly, who wouldn’t accept that?
A Duolingo representative said in a statement that restoring lost lines has been one of the most consistent requests Duolingo hears from learners. “Last year alone, tens of thousands of learners requested their handwriting back via social media in more than 80 countries.”
