Sony’s new fight stick and gaming monitor will be launched in August

Sony is sharing new details about some of its upcoming gaming-focused hardware, including pricing and August release dates for the FlexStrike fight stick and its 27-inch display.

The FlexStrike Fighting Stick will be available starting August 6th, the same day the new fighting game is released on PlayStation Marvel Toukon: Battle of Souls -And it will cost $199.99. Pre-orders begin June 12 at 10 a.m. ET. Initially, FlexStrike will only work on PS5, but Sony says PC support will be rolled out sometime after launch. The stick will come with a carrying case and a built-in rechargeable battery.

Sony’s new 27-inch PlayStation-branded gaming monitor will launch on August 27 and will cost $349.99, with pre-orders starting June 5 at 10 a.m. ET. The monitor has a 2560 x 1440 IPS display with VRR, and Sony says it supports up to 120Hz with PS5 and PS5 Pro and up to 240Hz with compatible PCs or Macs. The screen has a dedicated hook that can pop out of the back of the screen to charge the DualSense controller as well – it looks very handy.

The company also says that the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, Announced last Septemberwill be launched “later this year.” Sony didn’t specify a price, but says it will have more to share “soon.”
