Nvidia has discontinued the GeForce Control Panel after 20 years

Nvidia announced More than two years ago It was working on replacing its Control Panel app on Windows with the new Nvidia app. After porting over various features to the Nvidia app, Nvidia today announces that it has officially discontinued the Control Panel app.

“With the introduction of the latest Nvidia app update, all Nvidia Control Panel features actively supported for GeForce users have been updated and ported to the new client.” Nvidia says. “After 20 years of dedicated service, the Nvidia Classic Controller is officially retiring for the Game Ready and Studio drivers. For Nvidia RTX PRO users, Nvidia Controller will continue to be supported until we migrate the professional features to the Nvidia app.”

Nvidia’s old Control Panel app will remain installed on people’s PCs unless a clean driver installation is completed. However, if you need the Control Panel app, it will still be in the Microsoft Store, but it won’t get any new features or fixes.

Nvidia has moved over the majority of important Control Panel features to the Nvidia app last yearit has become a comprehensive application that can download and install drivers, manage game settings, and switch various DLSS modes.

Nvidia also released a New driver ready for the game today-Optimized time to launch 007 first light. The latest driver 610.47 also includes support for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
