Google is updating its spam rules to include attempts to “manipulate” artificial intelligence

“In the context of Google Search, spam refers to methods used to trick users or manipulate our search systems into making content more prominent, such as attempting to manipulate search systems into ranking content highly or attempting to manipulate AI responses produced in Google Search.”
