Marvel’s VisionQuest is coming to Disney Plus in October

Disney hosted its presentation on Tuesday afternoon, and the entertainment giant highlighted some of its network and studios’ biggest stars. During a Marvel segment with Robert Downey Jr., Tom Hiddleston and Bettany that celebrated the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bettany shared the VisionQuest release date. The TV series will arrive Disney Plus On October 14th.

“VisionQuest is the conclusion of the WandaVision trilogy,” Bettany said. “It’s a deeply personal story about identity, purpose, and what it means to be human, but with robots and lasers.”

A preview clip showed the once-dead hero coming back to life, but he doesn’t look quite like the old vision. He said: “I have his memories, but not his feelings. I have his face, but not his virtue.” James Spader stars alongside Bettany as Ultron in a story that will conclude this chapter of the robot’s story.

WandaVision launched the post-Avengers version of the love story between Vision and Wanda Maximoff — aka Scarlet Witch — with connecting plotlines woven into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and his fellow Disney Plus series, Agatha along.
