Google’s Aluminum OS was revealed in a 16-minute leaked video

Aluminum OS, Google’s upcoming version of Android for PC, has likely been leaked just hours before Google’s release. After the loading screen with the Android logo, the video shows the setup process for a new device. This process and overall UI looks very similar to the Android platform all along, only resized to fit a laptop rather than a phone. The taskbar and app drawer are similar to what ChromeOS users will be familiar with, but the default home screen now includes desktop icons and a Google search bar. The Settings app also shows the device’s operating system as “Android version 17”.
