“The Fourth Ward” TV series arranged by Prime Video


The hugely popular romance book series ‘The Fourth Ward’ was commissioned for the series by Prime Video.

The new TV show was announced during Amazon Upfront on Monday evening by series executive producers Michael B. Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo and book series author Rebecca Yaros.

No names have been attached yet for any of the main roles, including Violet Söringale, the main character who is forced by her mother to attend Basgiath’s War College to become a dragonrider, Zaden Ryerson, Rhiannon Mathias, Liam Mairy, and Dayne Aetos. But we do know that Meredith Averill will adapt the books for television and serve as showrunner, and Lisa Joy will direct the pilot.

“I am thrilled to work with this dedicated and experienced team, and I am grateful for their passion for books and the readers behind them,” Yaros said in a press release.

Set in the fictitious kingdom of Navarre, Violet and her teammates face increasingly difficult and perilous challenges to meet, bond with, and ride a dragon (or two). The series is supposed to follow the seasons taken by each of the three currently released books: The Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Garnet Storm. The fourth and fifth books have not been published yet.

According to Peter Friedlander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios, The Fourth Suite “is one of the most anticipated adaptations in the world.”

“We’re bringing it to life in a way that honors what fans love about the story,” Friedlander said.

A production and release date has not yet been determined Prime Video.

Amazon has announced a full list of New and ongoing series she has Streaming service During Amazon Upfront on Monday, including Ride or Die, Escorted, Rose Hill and Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power.
