We have live Star Wars shows for everyone, not just for men, but also for women and kids

Lego and Star Wars have a long history together, and it’s clear that the relationship is as strong as ever. I’ve had the chance to play with the new Lego Star Wars Smart Play sets, and while they’re a little weird, they’re a whole heap of fun.

The X-Wing was a lot of fun to build, and I enjoyed the smart bricks and the noise they make. While you’re flying the X-Wing, R2-D2 screams, and you can fire lasers with the push of a button.

It doesn’t add any bulk to the build either, it’s just a simple good sized brick and plenty of accelerometers to add to the fun. One of the small buildings that comes in the box is the Imperial Laser Tower which makes crashing sounds if you turn it over. It makes me laugh every time I do it.

The X-wing itself uses bricks to great effect. It makes all the action sounds while flying, but if you press the red button on top, it moves the brick forward, turning on the accelerometer and making the laser “pew pew” sound. Then, as it returns to its place, the NFC reads R2-D2’s tag and beeps as well. It really works very well.

total, $90 The cost of the X-wing seems like a good deal. The Smart Brick isn’t tied to the set you have, so it can be used in other sets eventually, and you’ll get an X-wing and three mini-sets to play with as well. Plus R2-D2, Leia and Luke minifigures make fun sounds when near bricks.
