Spotify is entering the fitness era with a new partnership between Peloton and Influencer

“By bringing thousands of creators and partners like Peloton directly into our video and audio ecosystem, we’re investing in a future where Spotify isn’t just where you spend your time — it’s where you go to build momentum, improve your well-being, and get more out of every day,” Roman Wassenmüller, Spotify’s vice president and global head of podcasting, said in a press release.

To access this genre, type “fitness” in the search bar in the Spotify app. Free and premium users will have access to new playlists and workout content from wellness creators like Body Pilates from Raven, Sophie Redfit, Chloe ting home workouts And many more.

Spotify allows any fitness creator to publish their own content through Spotify for Creators and join the Spotify Partner Program.

Premium members will have access to thousands of ad-free, on-demand Peloton classes taught by renowned Peloton instructors. These trainings will be broadcast in English, Spanish and German. Premium users will also be able to access these workouts offline after downloading them.

According to Spotify, more than 70% of members already use the streaming service during their workouts. The company said it saw demand in the fitness category, driven by orders placed through its AI-powered system Required playlist Generator, which allows users to customize the playlist based on their current mood and needs.

The new fitness category will allow users to stream workouts cross-cast to their phone, TV or smart speakers, depending on their preference.
