Claude connects directly to your personal apps like Spotify, Uber Eats, and TurboTax


Claude users can now access more apps using Anthropic’s AI New connectors For everything from hiking to grocery shopping. Anthropic already supports connecting many work-related applications to Cloud, Such as Microsoft applicationsbut this expansion is focused on personal apps like Audible, Spotify, Uber, AllTrails, TripAdvisor, Instacart, TurboTax, and others.

Some of these apps, like Spotify, already have it Similar connectors in OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Once the app is connected, Claude will suggest relevant connected apps directly in your conversations, such as using AllTrails for hiking recommendations. “Your data from (connected apps) is not used to train our models, and the app does not see your other conversations with Cloud. You can also disconnect it at any time,” Anthropic notes in its blog post announcing the new connectors.

Additionally, Anthropic says, “There are no paid placements or sponsored answers in conversations with Claude.” When multiple apps appear relevant, Cloud will display results from each “ranked by most useful.” Claude will also require users to verify before taking actions such as making a purchase or reservation using a connected app.
