Sony Inzone H6 Air review: Comfortable headphones with great sound

While something like this Razer Black Shark V3 Pro It may be more tactical if you are seeded Rainbow Six Siege grinder, I think the average gamer will appreciate the balance found in the Sony pair. I’ve been playing a lot Marathon Recently, the spatial execution here has begun to feel more natural, in a distinctly immersive way. The creaks of New Cascadian’s abandoned infrastructure and the erratic stomping of UESC robots are almost shockingly real, giving the already rich sound design room to breathe and sweeping me off to Tau Ceti. Even so, at least once, I was the first person on my team to hear another team of racers sneaking into the transport truck while looting, so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything important.

It’s also absolutely great for listening to music. The sound is rich in detail, and the open-back design is very reminiscent of high-end audiophile headphones I’ve used. They excel at anything groovy and bass-heavy, making my favorite Steely Dan tracks come alive, even when layered under the busy noise of Craftsmanship wow Silver moon. They have a light, easy-to-use profile that’s perfect for those days when you’re answering emails, listening to music, and cultivating AFK old school runescape, All at the same time. This is a combination of activities that I generally leave to my speakers; Canto Tokbut I find myself turning to the H6 Air instead when I want to focus.

Fit and finish

The advantages of wired headphones are immediately obvious. You won’t have to worry about low battery life, you won’t lose extra wireless dongles, and you won’t need to install any new apps or create a new account to get started. As long as you don’t mind saying “I’ll be right back” to your friends before turning on the fridge, you can avoid a lot of the pain points that most gaming headsets are designed to alleviate.

As you might expect, the H6 Air also outperforms any wireless headphone when it comes to weight: just 199g in total. My current favorite wireless gaming headset for most people is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3260 grams, the difference is immediately noticeable. Aside from the lack of a battery and associated wireless technology, there are some compromises that bring the H6 Air up to this weight. The earcups themselves are made of lightweight plastic that doesn’t feel particularly sturdy, and the removable microphone is clear, but my friends didn’t have quite the same response as they did with the Other high-end gaming headsets.
