Anthropic takes $5B from Amazon and pledges $100B in cloud spending in return

Anthropic Announce Amazon on Monday agreed to invest a new $5 billion, bringing Amazon’s total investment in the company to $13 billion. For its part, Anthropic has agreed to spend more than $100 billion over the next 10 years on AWS, acquiring up to 5 gigawatts of new compute capacity to train and operate Cloud.
