La-Z-Boy chairs and sofas have built-in Klipsch speakers

No-Z-Boy Announced the new AudioLuxe furniture line With upgraded chairs and sofas with built-in sound systems that deliver “crystal clear tones and deep bass vibrations.” The company is teaming up with Klipsch for speakers built into each piece’s headrest and a subwoofer hidden in the base. The furniture can be used as part of a larger surround sound setup or connected wirelessly to smartphones and tablets to enhance your evening scrolling.

Details like pricing or configuration options haven’t been announced yet, but after introducing its AudioLuxe line in a Trade show This week, La-Z-Boy says the furniture will be available sometime this fall and won’t be limited to just fabric cover options. Leather would also be an option.

AudioLuxe chairs and sofas can be connected to Klipsch Flexus sound system It is used as part of a larger 5.1.2 surround setup with Dolby Atmos support. It also features Bluetooth with Auracast support. You can wirelessly connect a device like your phone to your seat and then stream the audio to other Auracast-compatible speakers or furniture.

Even in a room full of La-Z-Boy AudioLuxe furniture, each person can customize their own listening experience and what resonates with them. Inside each armrest are individual controls for adjusting volume, selecting audio input, and syncing sound across all pieces of furniture.
