While the QC Ultra Earbuds (2nd generation) don’t represent a huge step forward from the first-generation model, at least visually, they do make notable strides in audio and call quality. The bass is still a little heavy, but the high-quality sound is clear and lively, whether you’re listening to stock audio or adjusting your preference using the three-band EQ found in the Bose app. It also comes with a wireless charging case and continues to support immersive audio, which is similar to Apple’s spatial audio in that it can add greater depth when listening to specific content.
